Yellow Yardsticks (Quartet from Vol 1)
Blue Rider (Trio from Vol 2)
Rainbow Piano Ensembles Volumes One & Two is a unique set of original ensemble pieces for small and large groups of keyboard players and pianists - published by Bromley piano teacher and jazz composer/pianist Mark Ingleby.
Remembering how much harder it used to be for young pianists to get involved in group projects, Mark developed these books to provide an opportunity to play more than just duets. Quartet parts can be replicated into classroom-size ensembles and school music teachers can also benefit from the canon pieces in each volume, which can be easily expanded to 18 or 27 simultaneous players using only 9 keyboards (or 32 players on 16 keyboards); and non-clashing tonalities allow for pleasant headphone-free simultaneous practising in the classroom or keyboard club.
